Dolly

We didn't get a drop of rain from Dolly. It looks like that's the extent of our rain chances for awhile, too.

The clouds looked dramatic last night, though, and there was thunder & lightning in the distance, and my dial-up came to a screeching halt. Tonight the sunset is pink and there's a weird yellow cast to the sky.

Update: I was finally able to turn my aluminum cans in, my 5 bags came to 8 pounds, which brought in $5.92. It hardly seems worth it but on the other hand, something is better than nothing. We're going to smash the cans and collect them for longer.

My dog-sitting came to an end and I was given Peet's as a thank-you! I was just overwhelmed by the thoughtfulness of the gift.
